I wish we were more fun for blogs sake but this year has consisted of us as a couple trying to be BETTER to buckle down even more than before so that we can be more stable and organized
bryan has been working SO HARD for me & gusgus & I have been doing all that I can to continue with my straight A streak
*side rant: whats up with online classes being SO MUCH HARDER than campus classes. Why must I write harder and work longer just because I'm not in IDAHO? I have to do group work and my grade depends on it, I hate it! Especially when its obvious that others in the group do not care what sort of grades they achieve....k im done...
mainly I've been making a lot of tasty treats and keeping gussy company It's nice to have calm days and be able to actually CLEAN my house and make dinner for my husband...most of the time...
late spring in CA is breath taking, really. I <3 it here
ALSO, Mothers Day was just lovely. Bryan works so hard during the week I honestly didn't think he'd even remember that it was mothers day, but I was just excited to talk to my Mom that day.
I woke up to breakfast, tulips & a real cute card! He's sharpening those butter-your-wife skills quite nicely.
& at church we got GODIVA chocolates! va va voom eh? thats what I say anyway ;)
HIGHLIGHT: I got to see my Titi Kenia on monday in sacramento! she'll be coming here to CA for work until september! how perfect is that! can't wait to see much more of her (i'll take pictures next time, who knew sacramento would feel so home-y & beautiful)
lastly I want these shoes, real bad, like a craving I can't kick
$140
I'm a dreamer, I know I know but if you'd like to buy them for me, I'd be ever so obliged!
for the past two weeks we have been staying with family and friends on our journey to Livermore, California so that Bryan can work for the summer while I take online classes. It's a great opportunity for us to make some worthwhile money & we're real excited. As I've stated before, I've become an instagram slave so thats where most of my pictures will come from, but I think they look nice for now :)
Our journey began with our fellow boom-boom members laura & rachel graduating from BYUI!
penny is kind of a graduate too!
then we drove down to Alpine UT for the weekend to spend some quality time with Bryan's family for Easter. It was so beautiful & it was great to see his cousins, mom and brother and sister in law!
just some sister hiking fun on easter morning after church
pampered pooch...I'm not proud of it but its the reality of the situation
Once we arrived in Southern California last Monday we went straight for the ocean for some sun and relaxation! Did I mention my lil sister Imani came along for the drive and got to spend a few days with us here! It was a lot of fun having her with us on the beginning of our summer journey!
On Tuesday, Bryan, Me and Imani got to go to LA (my 1st time) &
We got to LA a little bit early and decided to try one of the local vegan bistros (SAGE) near the venue. It ended up being surprisingly delicious & filling!
We were FRONT ROW, she looked me dead in the eye about 4 times & she jumped into the crowd & we practically hugged. It was life changing and beautiful & I love her....
They were thrown 2 bb showers & both of them were perfect
shower #2:
that's all for now folks! I'll continue to be better at updating this great lil journal of mine! especially since Mrs. Murphy is giving us a revamp that I am really excited about!
