Our Most Recent Weekend of Salt

We went to SLC this weekend! Bryan had a mission reunion and I've never been to conference so we thought we'd try to get standby tickets while we were there. We were also able to see some family and friends that we've not seen in too long.

 After the reunion we were starving & could not resist stopping at the closest In & Out Burger.  They are so basic but terribly delicious.

Saturday:

 it didn't work out. the line was so long! we were definitely towards the back sooooo

we decided to have lunch with our good friends Willard Cron and Brent Colbert until the afternoon session & Boy was I grateful! They took us to Gourmandise - The Bakery and let me tell you this, everything we ate, because I sampled a little of everyones plate, was scrumdiddleumpsious!

as we were waiting for our meals to arrive I decided to sneak on over to the bakery section. This gem caught my eye & we truly fell in love. It was just begging to be eaten.

After conference (which was, as always, uplifting and very necessary in our life) we drove to mapleton utah to visit OUR uncle eric & aunt kjirstin youngberg! A warm, love filled dinner was awaiting us & it was great to catch up & to hear bryans nostalgia.

AFter dinner with the youngbergs we drove to provo to spend time with more friends! I spent the evening with Brooke Showalter, Samantha Coffey, Kelly Hicks, and Adrienne Miller at BYU! Bryan spent the evening with Sam Martindale and other mission friends (sorry I dont know their full names) 

Sunday:

Lunch with willard and brent wasn't enough and lucky enough for us, brent needed helping getting ready for his tour!

Fun Fact: Willard works at Buca Di Beppo! He so graciously took us for a late snikity-snack at his job where we recieved the royal treatment! I'd def go back, everything we ate was soooo good!

 Lastly, time escaped us so we decided to stay the night at our new friends Meghan & Brady Burrows home! They are an amazing power couple and their home was decorated to perfection! When we finally have our home I will aspire to making my home as classy as theirs!
